Can't comment on durability yet. Looks decent enough. I had some trouble sliding the top into the middle tube. Mine came with a rubber tip already taped to the top post. Trying to squeeze this piece into the center tube (it has a collar) was difficult. I ended up pulling the middle tube all the way out and spraying some lube (silicone) on the top post, laying it on the concrete and pushing like crazy. Eventually it went in a bit, but it took more effort to get through that flange you don't see there. Now it's more stable and I can move the top tube to get the right height. But it was harder than I expected, the instructions don't cover it, and the bad Photoshop images they show online don't really show what you need, even in the final version.
