I've had it for 3 weeks now and use it every day. This is aluminium. He is light. The bottom crease that keeps the laptop from sliding is small (not high) so it doesn't touch your wrists when typing. This really elevates the laptop to a very usable height. At level 1 you can still type very well and quickly. If you set it to the highest level, you'll look at the sky (just kidding). Rubber stoppers to hold the height are rigid. This also makes sense with a standing desk to bring the screen closer to eye level. The only downside I would say is the bottom rubber that touches the table. I suspect if you keep moving the laptop + stand the rubber pieces will start to slide off, they're just glued on. Because of this, I don't move it too much. If I need to adjust position, I remove my laptop, then move around or just move it very slowly. I'm just very careful not to lose my footing. And the color of the gun metal is tired!
