Review on ecoegg Laundry Egg, Fresh Linen - Eco-Friendly 720 Load Laundry Detergent by Alexandra Baker

They should be distributed on the day everyone grows up

I received an eco egg as a gift 2.5 years ago. I have a gluten allergy and a rare neurological disorder and wanted to reduce inflammation and breakouts due to gluten in commercial laundry detergents. I also wanted something non-toxic to the waterways. I run a small lifestyle business that strives to be eco-friendly and uses only organic and natural ingredients in our products. With my commercial detergent I felt like a scammer. I couldn't afford a seventh generation with three small children and a laundry. I also didn't have time to make soap nut cleaner every week. I already make several botanical infusions for my company's products and didn't want to waste my time making laundry detergents, so I was delighted to receive this thoughtful gift. I ran out of white pellets last week after 2.5 years of washing. So I ordered a new set of eggs for myself and gave my daughter the old ones with a spare packet. I really like this product. I apply organic lavender oil to the beads once a week and use baking soda to get rid of stubborn stains. I have three children, dogs and companionship. I do a lot of laundry every day. The washing never stops. I spent $40 on laundry detergent every 2 weeks. I haven't bought any laundry detergent for 2.5 years. I saved thousands of dollars. What I wish someone could tell me: 1. Clean clothes don't smell. Use a quality essential oil like lavender or lavender and ylang-ylang if you need a scent2. Loads should be smaller and they need more water (x-small load I use with heavy load)3. Dark quirks less4. No more white t-shirts with caked armpits from my husband. For some reason, the detergent causes his t-shirts to turn yellow and stiff when they come into contact with his deodorant. It's very disgusting and I turned them into rags and threw away the hard parts. So I'm saving $$$ by throwing away fewer shirts.5. Baking soda or natural washing soda is essential for stains like blood, grass, or markers. It will get the stains out. Old stains are also removed. Seriously, it has extended the life of all my clothes. Bottom line, it's worth every penny. Just buy it. It saves you so much $$$ and helps the environment
