Having bought a similar lamp with a white shade last year - - - I was delighted to be able to offer this new black shaded version at Revain. In the photos I show two lamps side by side and a black lamp (this new version) off, dimmed, medium, bright, as well as a video going through the settings. Since the two lamps are identical except for the shades, I quote from my review (03/11/2021) of the original version: <<< This lamp seems to have it all! Subtle light, touch dimming, two 120V outlets and two USB power ports. Great that you don't have to search for a power switch, pull a cord or need a rotary dimmer. Just touch the base and you're done! The instructions on the box need to be updated, but its use is intuitive! Thanks to the design team! >>> Now that they offer both black and white, you can choose the one that best suits your decor. I have four Sailstar lights at home! Two bedside lamps with touch controls, a simple bedside lamp with chain and a table lamp with touch controls and pen holder. All of these lamps work well and are attractive but unobtrusive. love these products!
