I was really surprised by this product, I used to read bad reviews to see what the negatives were, some people said they break, they are not strong, they seemed to be cheap. I thought they looked cheap when I received them and they seemed thin. But they work. I guarantee I will be careful so this can help and I try to use the right size for the style I want and try not to let the small one wrap around my head. I really like the idea that I can collect a few things and make whatever I want. It's now much easier to do high pulls, low pulls, all types of pulls and hairstyles with it. I'm not sure if my hair type and texture matter, but I really like them. My hair doesn't get caught on the material as it's quite smooth and it's a lot easier to get the clips together and off the hair. Even if my hair was in a bobby pin. They pull apart easily so I'm not worried about hair breakage. They are very stretchy and the fact that they are thin means they go unnoticed in your hair. So I don't even have to worry about the color, I would try.
