I'm not entirely surprised, but it doesn't noticeably lower the temperature in the room no matter how long I use it. Provided it is powered by a USB cable. I knew it wasn't going to happen. But I was hoping for a general cool down in the room. See image for size comparison. It's not as tall as my drinking glass and about 2 times wider than the cup. I added ice and ice water (distilled) and ran it at maximum fan speed. When it's next to me, it feels like a nice, cool fan. But it's loud. I can't use it for phone calls/meetings. Even at the lowest speed. My biggest concern is condensation from the water tank. It goes through a lot of water in a short amount of time, but it drips condensation fairly quickly (and constantly). (See side picture.) Pros: - nice cool fan to keep me cool at my desk - fun light Cons: - doesn't cool my small office (100 square feet) - noisy - first time working. Strong smell of new fabric (understandable) For the price I thought it was worth keeping as a fan to cool off (on one side of me at least!) in my office.
