I used to use a plastic sponge in the shower and then a plastic brush in the kitchen sink. I usually have to change my shower sponge every few months, and my dish brush has also recently worn out. So I decided to look for something more eco-friendly. They are amazing! One side is perfect for exfoliating in the shower or handling delicate foods. The other side is rougher and is therefore excellent for dishwashing. They're really just pieces of a "regular" loofah, each with a rope threaded through them, and you can get loofahs in many places. However, with regular loofah sponges, you can't use the rougher side, making them better for utensils. Regular loofah sponges are also more difficult to keep clean as they are usually slightly larger. With them, you can try cleaning them a few times, but you can just compost them when you're done! of it against washcloths. Great idea, will buy again when my new ones wear out!
