My desktop monitor is adjustable but needed just a few more inches to be at eye level. I reviewed numerous reviews for monitor risers and looked at lots of different options (those with shelves, acrylic, wood etc) Ultimately, I wanted a design that would blend in with the base of my monitor and take up as little space on my desk as possible. This takes about 2 minutes to assemble and is ridiculously sturdy, metal. I have absolutely no concerns with stability. I also have it on the lowest setting and the base of my monitor fits the footprint (dimensions) of this riser almost perfectly. The only small thing that gave me hesitation was the "BoYata” logo, I’m not a big logo person and particularly random (to me) brands. As it turns out, the logo is not even visible given the depth of the riser and when on the lowest setting.
