I'm tired of playing with my old rubber toilet bowl earplugs every ten miles. They kept slipping out of my ears. I've been looking for a replacement for quite some time and am reluctant to spend $50 on earbuds as I've broken a few pairs in the past. I'm very glad I took the risk of buying these yurbuds and if I mess them up I'll happily spend another $50 on a new pair. The longest run I've run in them was 15 miles and I never had to touch them. You lock them in place and they sit comfortably there while you run. Period. Also, I now hear enough road noise to be safer while running. The old piston buds blocked all outside noise. The Yurbuds let through enough road noise, but somehow deliver enough bass to make listening to music enjoyable. Part of my favorite running route is nearly two miles on a footpath alongside an eight-lane highway. Despite all that noise, the Yurbuds offer a quality music listening experience. By quality I mean music as good as most people are used to. I suspect that the reviewers complaining about the sound quality are the real "audiophiles" - the top 1% of the in-ear headphone market. If you want to enjoy your workout with quality sound and don't want your headphones to fall out, you can buy Yurbuds headphones.
