    Two parts, not one!

    Looks great and the material is great. However, the dimensions are hidden at the bottom of the page. It is advertised as one large piece, the pictures actually show only one piece, but it's actually two pieces.

    Does not match description or packaging. It's not 36 inches but two pieces about 17 inches long. It won't fit in a 40-gallon tank unless it has a center brace.

    Perfect fit Glass lid

    The glass part is perfect for my aquarium. I had to cut the back plastic piece, but you'll have to do that for the filters and air ducts anyway, so no big deal. I like it. Place the light above the glass so you don't have to worry about water getting into the light.

    Fits 65 gallon 36L x 18W aquarium with medium support

    This product is exactly as advertised. I have a 65 gallon medium support aquarium. 36 inches long and 18 inches wide. I couldn't mount a full 36" hood or glass top. Requires a 36" two-piece lid. She fits perfectly! The glass lid sits within the rim of the aquarium and rests on a support in the centre, one piece on each side. Due to the size of the aquarium, it was difficult to find a suitable lid. glad to have found this. Many Thanks

    This is not a complete case!

    Product image shows 1 piece. The product description says nothing. It had to be in one piece to enclose the tank and be supported at both ends. It's actually two 18" pieces that won't work if you don't have a divider. Without a separator there is no support on your tank and they will fall into the tank. Don't you think they should tell you? I found what I need at half the price at Petco.

    This advert is misleading. You will receive 2 pieces, not one. Also, the glass is nice and heavy, but I don't see a way for the vinyl strips to actually support the glass, especially if you cut off the part for the filter and such. Disappointed but will adapt to work as I needed an upper. UPDATE 8-27-15: I had an aquarium light on this top and the top cracked in half. I'm not sure what kind of light works best for this, so you might want to double check. I used light from a 10 gallon tank.

    Cracked and wrong

    I received this today. The first problem was that it was broken off in a few places. It must have happened after packaging, although I can't tell if it happened during shipping or before. This means that the lid of the aquarium has scuffs in places, glass splinters and glass splinters in the packaging when I opened it. Another issue is that the two sheets of glass that make up the product are misaligned, they are misaligned by about an inch making it unsuitable for my aquarium. Overall, it…

    I ordered this Versa Top to use with my 36" x 18" 40g grow tank. What they don't tell you about this product is that it is designed for FIFTY and SIXTY gallon aquariums, not 40. It comes in 2 pieces of 18" x 18" glass which expects your aquarium to have a center brace has, not 1 solid 18" x 36" as you might assume from the subject's description. When I messaged the seller, they refused to replace or exchange the product and I had to contact Amazon directly to resolve the situation. I ended up…
