This product is exactly as advertised. I have a 65 gallon medium support aquarium. 36 inches long and 18 inches wide. I couldn't mount a full 36" hood or glass top. Requires a 36" two-piece lid. She fits perfectly! The glass lid sits within the rim of the aquarium and rests on a support in the centre, one piece on each side. Due to the size of the aquarium, it was difficult to find a suitable lid. glad to have found this. Many Thanks
