I was delighted to receive this in the mail for a gender neutral baby shower. The instructions seemed simple, but I had to enlist my husband's help because you can't close and elastic the rolled up diapers yourself. I used elastics for the top layer and the middles of the bottom layer. I couldn't find elastic bands big enough for the outer bottom 2 layers so I used ropes. 2 packs of 7th generation diapers made the perfect amount of diapers. Leg stickers are adorable but need to be stuck on as they keep falling off. In the end, the final product looked great. The cost of diapers, bottles to place in the center, and labor to assemble is more to me than just buying a pre-made diaper cake, but for those who are more dexterous, this is a good option.
