I was skeptical that it would perform so well. My old school amp was 100 watts and weighed about 80 pounds because it was full of copper wires. I currently have an Onkio with a built in tuner and it weighs about 15 pounds at 125 watts. This little thing fits in the palm of your hand! I've used it to power some Sony speakers with dead surround sound and an optional FM tuner. I've only tried 4 small bookshelf speakers and then found they easily overpower them, added a walker and midrange. I can get about halfway up the volume before they start to distort. I think it could handle big speakers. Bluetooth works well when your phone is next to it. The hardest thing about this little thing is that it's so small! Connecting the cables is easy, but it would be nice to have a slightly larger unit with all ports on the back.
