The human sound has changed since I was last in the market. This little guy runs 6 speakers in the house we just bought. Maybe not an audiophile setup, but it works great for streaming Spotify from my phone. Lots of power (note that there is an exponential relationship between power and volume; to get 2x loud you need 10x power). The disadvantage of Bluetooth streaming is range and interruptions from other apps, phone calls or text messages).

I would recommend it. It performs just as well if not better than my expectations. However, there are a few things to note: The green LED is always on, even when I unplug the adapter. I assume that the voltage comes from the USB input. > Bluetooth audio is not as good as direct connection or even the built in DAC via USB. > The volume varies between inputs. Updated 01/18/21. This is how the amp worked for some time, but eventually the sound began to disappear with brief flashes from time to time. Until finally it just stopped working. As mentioned in my original post, with the power supply on this was underpowered at 50w, not the nominal 100w. I have contacted the seller and will update you once I know more. They sent a very cheap power adapter with this item, it broke the first time it was connected. Luckily I had another power supply that worked with the amp. work as stated. If connected via Bluetooth try disconnecting and connecting via USB on the back, it doesn't seem possible to get out of Bluetooth mode. Aux mode is a different story. I was skeptical that it would perform so well. My old school amp was 100 watts and weighed about 80 pounds because it was full of copper wires. I currently have an Onkio with a built in tuner and it weighs about 15 pounds at 125 watts. This little thing fits in the palm of your hand!
