I am very happy with this. Bought these for my two year old. I didn't realize they were rated for very cold weather, which is great because we live in Minnesota. My little friend loves them. I was worried that they would have a hard time getting back on their feet because they just slip through the style. However, since he loves them, he sits still while I dress them and even dresses them himself. If your child has a tendency to curl their toes this can complicate things, but other than that I don't see any issues with the design. A small loop on the back of the boot helps pull them over your feet. I bought them slightly larger so he could wear thicker socks which was probably unnecessary. But he had no problem walking in it. They really aren't too bulky for warmth.
