Fire conditions have canceled most fireworks in our area. Since we had an event on the 4th of July I bought this (and some other similar toys) to make 4th of July fun. These copters are always a hit. But there are a few things to keep in mind when using it: 1) You must fold the wings as directed or the quad will not rotate. My daughter helped the kids fold them 2) You need to hold the launcher and copter properly for it to work. This requires showing the kids and some trial and error on their part. 3) Some kids use them as projectiles and shoot other kids with them. It's potentially dangerous, so let's keep an eye on it and put an end to it quickly. Once you figure it all out, the kids will love it. Of course, this is a disposable toy and it probably won't last more than an evening or two. But that suits us.
