Glue on knurling and unmarked

For some reason the dividers in the box these came in were glued down with messy stripes of glue (see photo). Other than not looking clean, it wouldn't be a big deal except either the glue wasn't dry when they put the potentiometers in the case or the glue softened during transport. As you can see from the other photo, the glue got on the knurled ends, so knobs won't even go over them. I tried picking the glue off, but some is still stuck in between the ridges. What a drag. Not sure why the dividers even needed to be glued in the first place since the lid of the box would have held them in place. Also, the potentiometers aren't marked, so hopefully they're in the right compartments, and I'll have to keep track of which compartment they came out of. Otherwise, I'll need to test them with a multimeter. I haven't tried them out yet, and may update this review when I do.

Pros
  • For convenience each value comes packed in labeled Poly bags and custom-made cardboard Box
Cons
  • Inconvenient Terminal Design: The vertical legs terminal design of the potentiometers makes them difficult to mount and solder in tight spaces, adding to the inconvenience of installation
