I wasn't sure what model of controller I had as Sony, in their boundless wisdom, chose to use stickers to cover these much needed ones Decorating details on their controllers not like stamping them with a hot piece of steel. But I was able to figure out which model I have from the Ifixit article on replacing the L2 and R2 buttons. Ordered the parts needed to replace a broken L2 trigger. I was surprised that the kit included spare screws, a screwdriver, and three different tools to open the controller. I wasn't blown away by how plastic they looked, but I wasn't sure what I was expecting from the original PS4 parts, after all they were the same or similar plastic. The L2 trigger installed in seconds, responded instantly, and ran smoothly. The rest of the details have not changed as everything is fine.
