I definitely liked the idea of hiding the microphone and wires under the uniform, but this little device had a few flaws. What I didn't like was the inability to disconnect the cord from the radio without having to unscrew the connector from my service radio. I realized that the quick release feature would make routing cables under my uniform a hundred times easier. I also had a problem with the microphone (small black box). The microphone was either defective or not sensitive enough to pick up my voice and transmit it over the duty radio. That was a deal breaker for me because if other people don't hear me properly, it can lead to disaster in an emergency. I liked the idea but it doesn't work for my application.
