Unreliable switch - Avoid this one!
Based on my experience, this limit switch is not reliable and caused my HVAC system to malfunction .It`s frustrating to have to deal with a faulty component especially when it's automotive based. The only positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. however, the cons far OUTWEIGH this benefit. Look for a more dependable switch for your heating needs..
- Ensures safe operation of the furnace by shutting off the gas valve if temperature exceeds limit
- Malfunction of the limit switch can result in an inability to regulate the furnace temperature
