Bought two Corsair TBT100 Thunderbolt 3 docking stations, one for the office and one for the home. I based this purchase on a review that rated this dock very highly. In the office I connect an Ethernet line, a USB mouse and a 4k monitor via HDMI. At home I connect a 1k monitor via HDMI (the mouse uses Bluetooth and the network connection is wireless). Both in my office and at home, the monitor connected to the docking station goes blank and then reconnects about every 5-10 minutes. This is unacceptable. The computer is a new Dell XPS 17 with Windows 10 2021H1. All drivers are up to date. Incidentally, in both cases, when I use a Dell-supplied adapter that provides an HDMI port and plugs directly into the laptop's Thunderbolt port, the monitor works fine both at home and in the office. At this point I'm ready to return these docks.
