This new design has one downside compared to the previous model. The diagonal louvers on the side are inclined inward and not vertical (90Β°) like the old model. As a result, the sound contains a "crackle" that can be heard at any distance. I opened up the block and made sure all the screws were tight. They were tight. I suspect all units are like this. The sound of the older model is smoother and less annoying.
