We have one in every room. This new model has many more volume controls. It is great. No looping, just soft, smooth white noise. Love it.

Nice compact design. I wish the volume was a little louder. Despite being regulated, my husband needs an insanely loud fan to combat his tinnitus.

This is a game changer. I was skeptical and used fans, air purifiers, sleep CDs, whatever for good sleep. It's incomparable. I'm a very light sleeper and I can't recall sleeping better since purchasing this device. Do yourself a favor, get one! You will not regret it.

This new design has one downside compared to the previous model. The diagonal louvers on the side are inclined inward and not vertical (90°) like the old model. As a result, the sound contains a "crackle" that can be heard at any distance. I opened up the block and made sure all the screws were tight. They were tight. I suspect all units are like this. The sound of the older model is smoother and less annoying.

I love how loud or quiet you can turn it up and my kid loves it too but it breaks SO EASY! We have two, one for baby to sleep in in the playpen in the master bedroom (or when traveling) and one for the children's room. Both are already gone and we haven't had them for 6 months.
