This key is better than the factory key. I've had problems with the key fob for my 2000 Lexus GS300 for years. I ordered a key fob from another company and the key itself never fitted properly so I just used the fob to open the doors and a spare manual key to drive. Until I found a spare key, I noticed that others said it was difficult to put the cap on the key. It wasn't difficult for me at all because I used pliers and it was like a fish out of water! After that, with minimal movement, the key entered the key fob perfectly. I've been using this key for about 3 weeks now with no problems! I even repaired my spare key. This is only the case if your electronic buttons are to be transferred to this case! Now I have two working keychains!
