Outstanding value! Great fit, but.On my 2013 Acadia, I did need to adjust the + contacts of both remote modules to make a good battery connection. I replaced the shell cases, and at first, both remotes would not work. By carefully bending the contact for the edge of the coin battery, both remotes work fine. CAUTION, it is very easy to tear off the battery contact from the circuit board! Only a slight adjustment was needed to make a good contact with the battery.VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS!

Doesn’t fit a 2013 Acadia. Internals are slightly larger. Also, even if they fit I’m not sure tha battery would stay at n place. The picture clearly shows a cast in ridge to hold battery in place hwhich is what the original part has. But there is no ridge on the replacement part so battery would not stay in position. See attached photo. Customer service at Keyless Option was no help.

The items arrived well packed and in good condition. Problem is, neither of them worked. The parts fit together, with the components inside, but neither work remote worked. When I put the parts back into the original shell, all the buttons worked fine.

Did not work at all, tried both casings. Replaced back into my old casing and worked just fine. The casing must be a different size and doesn’t allow for contact between the board and battery. In the end was able to use the new back with my old top casing and old buttons. Highly disappointing.

Inner mechanics of original vehicle key fob didn't fit well in this fob shell so connection was not good. Keyless entry didn't work more often than it worked making the shell useless.

Great replacement based on appearance to OEM fobs. But.after putting in the circuit boards and new batteries the fobs worked intermittently. I have to constantly, and carefully, bend the small metal tabs that secure the battery so that there’s contact to make the fobs work.

These things are pieces of crap. They are not worth the trouble. They didn't work when we initially installed the panel inside them, so we replaced the batteries. If you hit it on something, they'll work for a little while, but who wants to beat a key fob on something when you need it? Don't waste your money on these.just buy the real ones.

I got these to replace the keyfob shells in my "new" 2015 Chevy Traverse. Initially, the buttons would work then wouldn't. So I deducted that the 4 contact points with the battery weren't touching. I put a solid 1/2" glue dot in the center of the ring; that didn't fix the issue. Maybe the glue dot wasn't thick enough. I put another glue dot on top of it; it didn't work. Useless. As others have described, the photos don't match what you get. A critical piece is the back plate which contains battery stops to hold the battery in place. The pieces I received, neither had 'em Just a plain flat plate. Battery slides inside.Also, the circuit bd.from the original fob does not fit inside. It's slightly larger than the shell and therefore the bd would not sit inside correctly without shaving the edges to fit.Returned the package for refund.BTW, I bought it for my 2012…

I ordered these for my 2008 GMC Acadia. I switched the circuit boards from my old remotes into the new cases and neither worked. I put the old ones back together and they both worked again. I moved back to the new cases and they still didn't work. I decided that there must be some problem with the back piece not allowing the battery to make contact with the circuit board. So easy to transfer the insides of our broken ones to these. Works great. Looks pretty much the same. We had two break within a few days of each other. The car dealership wanted over $300 for two new ones. A locksmith wasn’t much cheaper! This was such a huge savings!

The only thing that I see as a negative would be, the battery prongs do not touch the battery properly, and at least 3 times, the key fobs would not work. I would have to bend the prongs out so that the battery would make a proper connection to allow the key fobs to work. When they are working, they work great!

Had two FOBs for my 2012 GMC Acadia with cracks that were causing the front and backs to separate. Quick easy replacement for the cases. Work great.

For an after market product it fit purfect. A little effort to put it together, but happy because it has a very tight fit Thanks for attention.

Had to place tape behind battery to enable contact.paint has work off.the buttons pretty quickly. Not quality expected.

The issue that I had is that the battery moves around and it should hold firmly in place. It only cost $10 so I took a chance on tweeking it. I’m adding a quick video to help you out with it, it’s my first time leaving one so bare with me. The two tabs that I mention in the video needs to be bent towards the battery to hold it snug and to make the control board connect right. Matches original in size, shape, and material. OEM guts fit perfectly, battery is well-secured in the case. Halves fit tightly, with rubber seal sandwiched in between. All buttons work. Saved serious cash over dealership cost. Order two, and you'll be laughing all the way to the bank!

Unfortunately they would not work on my 2013 Chevrolet Traverse as stated. Depth of unit is larger and when you depress the rubber membrame they do not make contact with the circuit board. Unit is useless to me, would not purchase this again.

I replaced both my remotes with these cases and put a new battery in each. After a few days the first quit working and shortly after so did the second. Batteries tested fine and was told that the cases don't line up well with the factory GMC insides.
