As I wanted to replace the cheap floor tiles my contractors installed when building my house I bought these along with the 'offered' ENLC001AR. When they arrived I was surprised at the weight of the plate assembly. But I had no idea the ENLC001AR adapter ring would work with the cover assembly. It only had two holes and three were required in the lid. Luckily the contractors installed the correct adapter ring. I chose to use an existing 2-way outlet (instead of the included 2-way outlet) so installation was fairly easy. After attaching the base plate and spacer, I tightened each screw just enough to hold the screws in place (this way they're easier to tighten). I then tightened the screws a few turns at a time until they were secure. I had a little "spring" in the wires, so I used rubber glue under the edge of the pad and put a weight on it overnight to set the glue. The next morning I had a perfectly fitting brass pad instead of the ugly plastic mess our cheap contractor had put in place. I will buy two more gummies (but not ENLC001AR. For my purpose it was a waste of money). Check the current setting before purchasing. If you already have a three-hole adapter ring, do not purchase an adapter ring. If you need an adapter ring. Look for a three-hole adapter ring that fits the cap. I recommend this product.
