"Kaleidoscope " is a misnomer.
This is a little decoration for kids with an attractive design, but it's called a kaleidoscope and as far as I can see there's nothing in it but a series of mirrors that distort the edges of what you're looking at. Looking directly through the pinhole you see what you see with the naked eye, no distortion and certainly no coloration. Very disappointing.
