My 1998 4WD CRV has power locks and this car was new to me and didn't have a remote. I don't know if the install came with them when new or if they got lost along the way. I took the opportunity to see if it's possible to have remote controls and after doing the software procedure they actually work! When I got the car the power supplies were not working and it was due to a broken wire in the driver's door wiring harness. Characteristic of this crop by hook or by crook.
