Great tool! Although I've had it not long ago so tested it for durability, this is a solid product. I'm studying to be an industrial designer so I've built an education in well and it seems like it's tough and something that will stand the test of time. A win for the longevity of the construction! The retractable tape measure-like feature allows for easy taping without Dr. Octavius or any other pair of hands. One-handed clamps like the Irwin Quik-Clamps are a godsend and make tightening easier. I would say they have a much firmer grip/hold than the Irwins which tend to slip due to caliper action. They have a ratchet function so only one step lock is available and therefore no micro-adjustment of the caliper clamps is allowed. Thus, over-revving is a problem. The adjustable corner clamps are great too, and I've used them successfully to glue hexagonal and pentagonal shapes together. There is also ample clearance at the top of the corner rails for fine adjustment via bevels. Choose it perfectly and pinch! The mechanism is heavy and stands well on good rubber feet. needs and I'm impressed. LOVE the retractable strap! Bought two, will buy two more. =)
