I bought these hoping to avoid soldering to adjust the light shading strips. That didn't happen. If you're reading this, save yourself the headache and solder the connections. The rest of my little things were good and met the needs, but these only caused frustration and wasted time. Of the connectors I received, one was soldered so tightly that I had no problems, all the others have at least one loose connection. I spent hours trying to figure out why my connection to the strip was loose, then I opened up the other side that was connected when it arrived and saw six pins that were barely connected with a tiny piece of solder and some were already broken . I was by no means rude with them, and it was clear that they were just poorly soldered and not glued at all. I ended up buying a soldering iron and removing all the pre-soldered ones and soldering the leads back to myself. The ones I've done it on are great now, but I have a few that I've already installed and I just have to press every now and then because one or two of the connectors will come loose.
