Update: With SiP I needed this dock more than ever. Contacted Accell support who took care of it and quickly issued an RMA. After receiving the damaged block, they quickly sent a new block. As long as it works without problems. I have a 2017 13" MacBook Pro (with Touch Bar) that I wanted to use with this hub. Connecting to displays, the ethernet connection didn't seem to work, and the digital to analog conversion through the audio port was poor quality However, I tried using it and some things worked, for example a USB-C to HDMI converter for connecting displays worked and a couple of USB 3.0 ports worked fine, but the power adapter fell out in the end year out.
