I bought this portable monitor stand to position it over my laptop screen. I travel a lot to client sites for work and write a lot of reports there. They require many documents to be open at once, so arranging the two screens vertically minimized my workspace and neck flex. This stand was perfect. I was able to position the platform at the correct height. The screen was stable on the stand and didn't wobble. Yes, the hinges are stiff, but that makes it stable. Well done and well done. When folded, it can be used as a laptop tray for ventilation. Compact and relatively light, ideal for traveling.
