I bought myself a 256GB flash drive. The available volume is 238.5 GB. Read / write speeds are high, which should be USB 3. X. The flash drive heats up during operation - in the USB 3.0 connector it gets very hot, in the USB 2.0 connector it is warm. It's at work! In passive mode, it is warm. If it is used in smart TV, it is warm. When working with the phone, it is warm, but it can probably get very hot if you rewrite large amounts of information. I haven't tested. I have no way to compare the temperature of the filling of flash drives in metal and plastic. Probably here the metal works as a radiator. In principle, a good, beautiful flash drive. But the heat during operation worries me.
