Not exactly smooth, lots of play, it came in an envelope

I bought this based on reviews and I regret it. First, the nut doesn't *slip* on the thread under its own weight, as another reviewer pointed out. Second, I can hand-spin this nut a lot and see the game. Worst of all it was sent in an envelope so it was probably affected by other packages at some point. For $10 I'm disappointed that I either have to buy a new bar or get an anti-backlash spring. I can post a video of the game if anyone wants.
