If you're looking for something to hear your pristine vinyls in a soundproof, darkened room, look further. If you're looking for decent sounding headphones these are great. Since they do not fit in the ear canal, but are attached to the outside, they do not dampen sounds, but allow ambient noise to be heard. And they're by far the most comfortable little headphones I've ever worn. You can literally wear them all day, no problem. I wore them and completely forgot I was wearing them.
