This camera certainly takes better pictures than our current kids camera. The display is large and clear. Easily switch between picture mode and video mode. The camera offers several different filters that change the color of the photo, but there's no choice of background or funny faces to put the person in the photo. The camera is a good size for my 4 year old's hands and I love that it has a durable soft case and strap to protect it from falls. The camera also came with a protective film for the back glass. I was really excited about it and wanted to nail it. As I was about to put it on, I noticed that there was a film on the display that looked transient because it appeared in multiple places. I took it off The screen was left with an even layer of sticky adhesive, giving it a blurry appearance. I tried to see if I could deal with the screen looking sticky, but it just wasn't practical. It took me about 10 years of my life to get rid of all that sticky residue so I could stick the protective film on. I'm not sure if it should have stayed on display. If so, then it was poorly done because it was peeling off in multiple places on the camera. If it needs to be removed, the glue requires some work because it must not leave a sieve full of residue. The AI feature is a new idea and got my 4 year old interested for about a minute. It is often incorrect and the voice saying the word has a heavy accent making it difficult for my child to understand. He heard "guitar" several times and had no idea what the camera was saying. I'm not sure about the usefulness of the AI function. If the camera has WIFI capability, I would prefer to wirelessly transfer photos to a computer or printer rather than misidentifying objects most of the time. My other son was jealous of this camera but if I had to do it again I would choose another camera that offers games or fun face filters, not this one. This one is great for getting clear shots if that's all you need.
