I ordered a size based on the reviews that I really shouldn't have gotten. They are very big. Although it's up to me. Even with the laces tied as tightly as possible, they are still very wide. The Camwas material is very rough and doesn't flex as much as branded shoes. When she's in her poses, I notice that the leather pads prevent her from sliding around like they should, which distracts her a bit. They make great play shoes and might even make decent backup or practice shoes, but they are not intended as mainstream dance shoes.
