It still works - you just can't shake the connections much. With NI-Max I was able to query a region that identified itself. The automated testing software performed its tests without any problems. Caveats: Not all null cables are created equal. For all my uses, pins 2 and 3 had to be folded together. More complex null cables may have jumpers in the rear housings of the 9 pin guns which I don't believe this cable has. This cable twists pins 2 and 3 - pins 1, 5 and 9 go straight through. I couldn't find any jumpers. is working. What more can you ask for?
