Great product, good value, good wiring upgrade

I've been using cheaper 16 gauge unplugged wire for years. When I started upgrading my speakers, I knew it was time to upgrade the wiring as well. Part of the upgrade included plugs as my speakers and AVRs accept plugs. My AVR sits in a low-profile media cabinet, and the rectangular connectors save space and keep things organized without pinching or kinking the cable. See photos before and after. Connectors take some time to install (compared to using bare wires), but it's worth the fuss for the looks and ease of connecting/disconnecting wires from components. Installation was very easy. I had no problems. I connected these connectors with 14 gauge cable direct wire. I recommend this cable for budget systems as the price matches these connectors. I am using a 3.1 system with Klipsch Reference (L/R/C) speakers and a Pioneer VSX-821K receiver. Please note that plugging the connectors into the speakers and receiver was a hassle. I had to support the opposite side of the components when inserting the connectors, but once in, the connection was very strong, not too tight, and the sound was great. Instructions I used: Just remove the rubber sleeve and install it on the wire first. - It is important. Loosen the 2 small screws until they are flush with the inside of the end cap. Strip the wire about 1/4 inch and twist if necessary. Using moderate force, insert the wire into the connector until it bottoms, then secure the 2 screws by finger tightening them with a small precision flathead screwdriver. Gently pull on the cable to inspect and replace the rubber sleeve.
