Will not fit standard outlets

I don't know how it got such high ratings. Banana plugs came as pictured but didn't fit my speakers (standard tech, high end speakers). You're just too fat. All of my other brands of banana plugs will fit, but not this one, which is about 25 percent larger in diameter than my other more expensive banana plugs. This is out of specification.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some bugs

They work!: Accessories & Consumables

It's amazing how many things these days just can't do the simple job they were designed to do. They work exactly as they should, with a very secure system of opposed screws to hold the wire. They are also longer at the tip than many others I've bought. So if you plug them into an amp or speakers, they stay! Would highly recommend her, couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Industry Leading
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Worked - Accessories and supplies

I originally connected my speakers to the receiver using knurled nuts to push the wire against the terminal because I didn't have enough room for the straight banana plugs. Finally got around to buying and installing these rectangular bananas. You did your job. Not much to add. I won't be hitting them for using slotted set screws, but I would prefer hex head set screws. Flat head screwdrivers can damage threads when screwed in under the surface like this one.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Contact seller

Ideal for tight spaces, but check all screw heads before use.

Functionality and comfort: 5 stars. The 90 degree angle is perfect for tight spaces. Quality: 4 stars. The screws on one of the connectors were missing grooves for inserting a screwdriver. This is actually a factory quality assurance issue that needed to be addressed prior to packaging. Therefore, before use, check all the screws on the plugs. I haven't returned mine but I will contact the company to request a replacement fork.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A bit torn

Decent banana plugs 90*

- The colored grommets are cheap rubber but they do the job well and prevent short circuits. - They hold the 12 ga wire well with two small brass set screws. I'm not sure if this is a feature or if I "overtightened" the set screws, but they deformed and part of the head broke off on each of them, keeping the screw in place permanently. I see that as positive, because I know that the screws will never loosen over time. The spring force is also perfect.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good

Useful for tight spaces and corner supports

As others have posted, I need to put my AV receiver in a shallow cabinet. They work very well for this purpose, especially after I cut the speaker wires at an angle so all the connectors fit (see photo). I use 14 AWG stranded wire. I bought a pack of 10 and am happy to report that I had no missing screws or loose connections. The plugs fit exactly into the connections of the receiver and the speakers. Bonus: My speaker terminals are angled up and work best with bare wires or spade terminalsโ€ฆ

Basic plugs. They work.

Those are cheap rectangular forks. They serve their purpose. These connectors have two offset screws that help secure the speaker wire. After the cable is attached, a color-coded plastic sleeve is snapped onto the end of the connector. This sleeve fits snugly and makes it easy to maintain correct polarity. These plugs are very tight when first installed and require a lot of force; The first use actually forces the tip to adjust to the size of the hole. After the first injection, the tip can beโ€ฆ

  • Vulgarity

Really great banana plug!

First, I inserted the (non-tinned) speaker braid into the connector pin on my Klipsch Forte speakers, tightening a little to get to work quickly. As I unclipped them, I noticed that I had cut the braided cable into chunks with screw terminals (the edges look like they were sharply cut). When I use them, not only do they look good, I worry less about an unnecessary wire shorting something out. You also look very beautiful. It also helps to hold the speaker wire well. Getting the angle rightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great product, good value, good wiring upgrade

I've been using cheaper 16 gauge unplugged wire for years. When I started upgrading my speakers, I knew it was time to upgrade the wiring as well. Part of the upgrade included plugs as my speakers and AVRs accept plugs. My AVR sits in a low-profile media cabinet, and the rectangular connectors save space and keep things organized without pinching or kinking the cable. See photos before and after. Connectors take some time to install (compared to using bare wires), but it's worth the fuss forโ€ฆ
