Deforms instantly with moisture

I bought the item to raise baby geckos. The problem is that after about a week the lid has already warped enough that the case can't close properly, so I have to weigh it down to prevent the geckos from escaping. Super cheap product, glass is better.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • No work

Not as good as it looks

The photo shows a gap between the lid and the sides that is on both sides. The lid does not sit properly in the grooves due to warping. The sides deform quickly, as does the lid. I'm worried that he might fall. The lid does not slide smoothly due to deformation. It's not worth it as a permanent residence. Do not worry. Looks nice but not functional.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Looks good but not as functional as I was hoping

I was initially very impressed with this enclosure and have decorated it nicely for my pygmy tarantula. Unfortunately, I couldn't close the lid properly after opening and closing it several times. Now he bends and does not stay on the rails. I have to tape it shut so my tarantula doesn't escape. Won't buy this one again.

  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Some issues

bad investment. for terrariums

I was very happy when I got the first time. Everything seemed great. However, after 2 days of use, the lid flexes and falls out of the rails, and the sides act like they're trying to break out of the bottom of the case. I don't have much substrate and haven't used heat that could be related to this deficiency. Very disappointed with the product. Because of the domed lid of the tarantula I kept on this escape, I not only wasted money on a broken hull, I also lost a pet.

PAY FULL PRICE FOR DAMAGED GOODS!

has been damaged again. broken hull. This is the eighth suitcase I've bought from this company. I buy these because they are great cases, but if I have to worry about them arriving cracked or broken, I just go to the Arachnid store for ALL my cases because they use more than just a thin layer of bubble wrap to wrap theirs Cases to be delivered undamaged to secure. It looks like it was packaged that way as the box was undamaged. If there weren't so many problems with the return I would do it…

Poor quality and dangerous for your pets

This is one of the worst items I have ever bought from Revain. It deformed immediately when the substrate and plants were added. Now the lid barely sits on the rails and I doubt it's secure enough to hold my pet. Just in case, I keep a book at night. Again, it warped immediately within a few days of installation. Unfortunately my pet tarantula had already molted and buried itself so I couldn't bring it back. Also, I told the saleswoman about it, and she flatly refused to help. To be honest this

Short shelf life, best for reptiles and amphibians

At first I was pleased with the appearance of this tarantula enclosure. However, after installing and placing my GBB strap in its new home, the lid didn't slide as easily as I had hoped. The problem I think is that it's too thin in the grooves and doesn't hold the lid in place and pushes the sides out and then I saw it break. This is a big problem when you need to feed them (tarantulas) and over time the aviary doesn't seem strong enough to do that. Great idea, just wouldn't rely on it for long

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons

Decent case, cheaply made

A lot of these acrylic cases are a bit pricey in my personal opinion, but I needed one for a small centipede I just bought. So I give 3 stars for the price but 4 stars for the quality. The vents are at the ideal height for enough substrate to accommodate terrestrial species. The lid closes well with a single magnet, but I modified the very small gap in the side that the lid slides out of (maybe 1/16 inch) by hot-gluing a strip of plastic to the lid. It probably wouldn't be necessary for other…
