Getting out of the pinned arms of the diapers was a great adjustment for the baby when the baby started to roll over. It took a couple of nights to get used to, but soon baby is moving around effortlessly, rolling onto and off his tummy and loving to snuggle into the soft cotton sleeves. On the other hand, the hands are still sucking, so the sleeves are pretty wet and the white is stained, so I recommend buying two at once, not the white ones. I had another brand and this one was better quality. The only downside is that the zipper sometimes breaks in the middle when I try to flatten or unroll the fabric while the baby is wearing it. But I move the pulley up and down once or twice and it aligns and doesn't break at night. It pairs well with regular white overalls under a t-shirt and doesn't interfere with the monitor lizard's sock. As the child grows (still within the clothing size) the cuffs of the sleeves will feel tight on the arms if the arms are left open (no cuffs) and the arms may stand out. But other than that I would recommend this to anyone or as a shower item for a friend or family member with a child.
