Description of 🦔 Soothing and Cozy SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack - Arms Up Half-Length Sleeves with Mitten Cuffs - Tiny Hedgehogs - Medium Size (3-6 months) - 14-21 lbs - Parents' Picks Award Winner - Promotes Easy Transition and Improved Sleep

100% Cotton. Imported. THE IDEAL TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE. LITTLE SLEEVES with BIG PURPOSE. When parents close the mitten cuffs on the 1/2-length sleeves, the uniquely-shaped sleeves will provide partial suppression of the Moro (Startle) Reflex, and if baby rolls over on to tummy, baby can use their arms to lift upper body and reposition head to get access to air, which makes the TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK a SAFER SLEEP OPTION. THE TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK IS DESIGNED TO BRIDGE THE GAP FROM SWADDLING TO WEARABLE BLANKET. When baby is ready to transition from a swaddle, but not ready for a sleeveless wearable blanket, the Swaddle Sack is a great option to (1) keep baby snug and warm, (2) allow baby the use of his or her arms, and (3) allow baby to self-soothe by sucking on his or her hands. FOLDOVER MITTEN CUFFS MAY BE WORN OPEN OR CLOSED, parents can open the cuffs, so baby can SELF-SOOTHE, or close the cuffs to PROTECT BABY FROM FACIAL SCRATCHES. UNIQUELY SHAPED ARMS UP HALF-LENGTH SLEEVES with mitten cuffs will keep baby's arms close to body, but within reach of mouth.Tumble Dry. THE TRANSITIONAL SWADDLE SACK IS PERFECT FOR BABIES WHO PREFER TO SLEEP WITH ARMS UP. Swaddle Sack supports baby in a back sleeping position, allowing for multiple arm and hand positions to help baby sleep better. INNOVATIVE 2-way zipper. Premium Cotton Knit. Small 6-14 lbs, 0-3 months; Medium 14-21 lbs, 3-6 months. US Patent D833,613.

Great transition from swaddling

Fits my 4 month old daughter great and is a good transition for her. The only negative I have to share is that when she puts her hands down the sleeves get so short that they pull over her arm and pull up her bed exposing her entire forearm and making her very cold . I put this on a fleece sleeper and it's the perfect temp otherwise. It doesn't overheat because it's pretty thin. If it was very hot, you could get by with this bed. It's comfortable and the hedgehog pattern is beyond cute.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Ideal for children who hate hand wraps.

It was great for our twins! We bought several. They squirmed and mooed in the diaper bags and tried to raise their arms so much they finally woke up. This allows them to raise their hands but still stay in check. When the cuff is folded, they can still suck their hands comfortably, but prevent them from twitching, waking up or scratching their face. The leg/body part is wide so we just wrap their bottom half with a swaddle blanket so they still feel snuggly.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Works better than the love of dreams but the print design is ugly

I like the price and functionality of this diaper. As a transitional wrap, there is more freedom to move hands when hands are closed than our love of dreaming of a perfect wrap. With open arms, the child naturally has full freedom of movement. My only complaint is that the patterns are kind of ugly. All of them are noticeably less cute than dream-loving diapers. We take a lot of photos of babies in diapers, so it's a shame. If they came out with better reproductions, it would fly off the…

Better than Dream Love diapers

We have been using the Dream Love diaper (L2D) for a few months now but my 3 month old baby has started to roll over. The handles in this one still hold them like a dream love, but they're longer for a child to use when rolling. The material is thicker and softer than L2D. It still fits snugly around the stomach/waist like the L2D. My ONLY complaint is that the neck doesn't stretch like the L2D. My son is almost 4 months old and weighs 18.5 kilos. The neck is narrower than I would like. I am…

The best swaddle for babies with their hands up!

My son is very picky about hibernation, everything should be in moderation! He loved daydreaming about the transition swaddling, and we tried really hard to stop him, opening one hand at a time. But as a result, his free hand gets out of control. It was a disaster and always ended with us getting wound up. We bought this in hopes it would help him transition and it is a MAGIC item. It stretches more than LTD but is safe for toddlers to ride. Handcuffed hands still dull the fear a bit, but not…

Easily loved baby sleepwear and nightwear

Getting out of the pinned arms of the diapers was a great adjustment for the baby when the baby started to roll over. It took a couple of nights to get used to, but soon baby is moving around effortlessly, rolling onto and off his tummy and loving to snuggle into the soft cotton sleeves. On the other hand, the hands are still sucking, so the sleeves are pretty wet and the white is stained, so I recommend buying two at once, not the white ones. I had another brand and this one was better…

Now she sleeps best!

My daughter refused to sleep as a newborn. I had to hold her to make her fall asleep; She woke up lying on her back. In the end I found swaddling helped. She only slept in diapers, but started breaking out of the diaper (she could even pull her hand out of the diaper!). So we chose this sleeping bag for the transition. I bought the 3-6 month size for my daughter when she was 8 weeks old and weighed about 10 pounds (to allow her to grow into it). It was the perfect match. I was skeptical because

The perfect transition from swaddle to hands-free wearing

Our daughter started laying tummy to back at about 2.5 months and by 3 months she was too big for her SwaddleMe swaddle. stylish diapers. She seems to fall asleep faster and sleep better when swaddled, and tends to wake up or be distracted when her hands and arms are completely free (so no sleeping bags were used), so we tried a few other transition swaddles. We first tried the SwaddleMe pod, but the neck was too big and she kept pulling her arms through the neck hole. I didn't think a…
