My son is very picky about hibernation, everything should be in moderation! He loved daydreaming about the transition swaddling, and we tried really hard to stop him, opening one hand at a time. But as a result, his free hand gets out of control. It was a disaster and always ended with us getting wound up. We bought this in hopes it would help him transition and it is a MAGIC item. It stretches more than LTD but is safe for toddlers to ride. Handcuffed hands still dull the fear a bit, but not as much as LTD. We spent a week with each hand before we both let go and he took it so well. He loves this sleeping bag and won't sleep without it! This keeps him warm and snuggly. My ONLY complaint is that when he stretches out his arm it goes to his elbow and drags his pajamas with him making his forearm cold. I would love to see a longer sleeve! Otherwise 1000000% worth the money!
