The photo does not convey the quality of the shoes. They look even better live. The color is very rich and the shoes are available with two laces, red and red and yellow as shown in the photo, with metal overlays that weigh down the laces well. They were packaged in a blue shoebox with amazingly detailed accents - the Hogwarts emblem, house emblems and charms scattered around the outside and inside of the box, the Daily Prophet's tissue paper, the Golden Snitch graphic on the lid - which delighted my son had with. I love the shoes and the packaging!
