Gummy cup breaks down over time
They're as slippery as they should be, but the rubber cap that holds them to the table leg wears out and cracks over time. This is at home, not in the garage or on the street. Therefore, they need to be replaced from time to time. This is very bad because the important (and expensive) part, the slippery part, is much more durable.
