Software used by many departments: CLIMS - Forensic Laboratory Management System
The system has all the required data that I need for my work. It is easy to use and navigate around the system. The layout could be more user friendly but it does not really bother me as much as the other functions of the program. For now, I am not having any issues with the system. I would recommend this software to anyone who needs to keep track of their evidence and samples in one place. This is very helpful for law enforcement agencies. We are able to utilize the system to manage our evidence and samples.
Pros
- Easy access when needed by everyone within your agency or department from multiple locations at once without being limited only using computer devices like desktops instead you can also do so remotely via cell phones which makes things easier especially if we're out making arrests while trying capture high profile criminals/suspects etc.It's been great! And definitely worth every penny spent!!
