Solution I didn't know I needed it
Recently "upgraded" to a new Microsoft Surface for my work laptop. That meant my screen had actually shrunk. Luckily, I was able to use this cable to connect my Surface to my home monitor's DVI port via its USB-C port. Again, this very "portable" combination of tablet and PC makes it extremely useful. The cable is well designed and the fact that it connects to my Surface via USB-C means I can quickly connect or disconnect my "big screen". Just the right solution when I'm not using my Surface on the go.
