It works! Great price, grab it now!

My granddaughter uses a preschool Chromebook and the display is too small. I had an additional, older 21" display that I wanted to use, but it only had DVI and VGA inputs. I found an UPGROW USB-C to DVI cable and after reading other reviews I decided to buy it. Works great! Granddaughter is happy, grandfather is happy, life is good! Fast delivery, the cable arrived well packaged and most importantly, it just works!

Randomly throws garbage on the screen

works well 2 out of 3 times. Garbage appears on screen 1 out of 3 times (I tried uploading an image but Revine didn't like it). Unfortunately, this happens after the computer has been put to sleep or restarted - seemingly randomly. I don't know if I have a bad cable or what, but a cable that isn't reliable for video isn't worth keeping. For reference, I used a Surface Book 2 connected to a Surface Dock 2, with this cable connected to a 1600 x 900 monitor running at 60Hz - the bandwidth should…

Solution I didn't know I needed it

Recently "upgraded" to a new Microsoft Surface for my work laptop. That meant my screen had actually shrunk. Luckily, I was able to use this cable to connect my Surface to my home monitor's DVI port via its USB-C port. Again, this very "portable" combination of tablet and PC makes it extremely useful. The cable is well designed and the fact that it connects to my Surface via USB-C means I can quickly connect or disconnect my "big screen". Just the right solution when I'm not using my Surface on

Best option for the new MacMini M1

I just upgraded our work Windows PC to a Mac Mini M1 processor. The number of ports on this computer is limited, so you can easily connect a monitor with a USB-C to DVI cable. This cable just works. Connect it to the monitor's DVI port and the USB-C end to the computer. MacMini automatically recognized the cable and monitor and used it to start the computer. This product works seamlessly with any Macbook or Mac USB C. I am very happy with my purchase. The cable material is a strong molded…

Works great with Dell Latitude 5480

Dell describes the port very poorly as an optional USBC/Thunderport 3.0. the symbol next to the port is a P in a D (DP logo). Anyhow, rather than paying a whopping amount for an official Dell Unlock box I would give this a go as I only need one more port to drive an additional external monitor rather than using the VGA port. I connected it to the monitor's DVI port and then connected it to Dell, it recognized it immediately and produced a bright, crisp image (better than VGA). Note. Beware of a

Adds an annoying pink line to the signal.

The build quality seems really good and hey I can connect a 2000 Cinema Display to a late 2018 Mac mini so I have nothing to complain about. But somewhere along the DVI to USB-C conversion, this cable adds a super annoying pink stripe down the left side of the display. I have the first image via a USBC adapter (pink line), the second image is the same display powered from the DVI output of an old Power Mac G4 (no line). So it's not the monitor. It's a real shame because other than that the…

Head and shoulders above other cables in the quality

First off, let me say that I rarely write reviews. This cable is clearly superior to most cables in terms of quality and period. This is the third USB-C-DVI cable I've bought. All of them worked at first, but on the previous ones, by the way, on all "Revain Choice" the quality of the cable left much to be desired. The first has never worked so well, if you move the laptop or touch the cable the video signal will be interrupted. The second cable worked for about a month, and then the same patchy

Worked with a Chromebook to connect a larger external monitor.

Kids use Chromebooks for distance learning. But the screens on the SMALL ones provided by the school. I have several older monitors and thought it would be better to have something visually larger. Doing a Zoom session and squinting at the screen of your small laptop would be a major inconvenience. The problem with using old monitors with new laptops is the connections. I did not think, that this adapter existed until I checked. And even then I was skeptical how well it would work. The…
