Revain is a joke! I was on the phone for over an hour speaking to "customer service". I bought this lamp hoping to do my own manicure at home as we live far from beauty salons. I only used the lamp for maybe 10 minutes and that's what I give a lot about the time this lamp was on. Then my daughter asked me to do her nails because we liked doing it together. As her nails heal, I hear a loud "clap" and shortly after, the lamp comes on! Not just a little smoke or flame, but a HUGE fire. Everything was on fire and my poor daughter tried to get her hand out of the lamp in time. Then I could think on the go and turned off the power source that was running in the car. Of course I examined my child and put out the fire! Once all was clear I called Amazon to ask them to remove this item immediately! They gave me my money back but then they made me very angry and said we could give you a "$15 certificate"! $15 for harming my child and then the security of my home?!? For real! I didn't care for $15! I wanted this article removed from the site so no one else is in this position! I urge everyone not to buy this product! I know this is a great deal because it originally cost $69.99! But it's not worth it! Revain has been a huge disappointment to me and I'm not sure we can keep our core membership and support a company that cares so little about its 'valuable customers'.
